Icons are a collective art, borrowing from various mediums including art, photography, and screencaps. I prefer simple beauty; creating 100x100px boxes that are not overshadowed by the use of brushes, textures, or gradients. Music is an integral part of my life; many icons are inspired by lyrics and thus inhabit said space - never will words appear unless they augment the overall beauty of each square.

I almost always post icons in sets; very rarely will I make a 'multi-fandom' post. All posts are archived in the memories here, and are tagged for your convenience.

The rules around here are pretty simple.

Comment; just let me know if you're taking some. I don't number my icons, mostly because I'm too lazy to edit my code, so just let me know in the comments that you like the icons you see. No need to give detailed information (unless you feel inspired!), but its just a way to know which sets people like - that way, I'll feel inspired and will probably make more.

Credit if you feel inclined to, but I won't go all crazy on you if you don't, Its the nice thing to do, after all. All of my filenames are "lj_blahblah07.png" or "sunnysky_blah38.png" so it should be easy to figure out which ones are mine.

Most importantly, don't modify without my permission. I make a lot of 'minimal' icons that a lot of people mistake for bases - please, don't be among them. Simply because something doesn't have text on it doesn't mean its a base. I don't really like brushes or crazy textures, so just let the simple beauty of the icon speak for itself. If you don't like that, either don't use it, or go make your own.

Don't repost these anywhere, unless I give you permission. Don't post them at an icon stealing community, Xanga, or at your own journal. This goes hand in hand with the next rule: don't claim anything as your own work. I find out you've been doing that and, well. Things between us will become not so good.
